US Open Karate Tournament

The 2011 US Open will be held on July 1st - 2nd, 2011,
at the beautiful Coronado Springs Resort, Walt Disney World.

 The US OPEN strives each year to present new ways to enhance your competition experience! This year, over 500 hundred divisions will give you the potential for a tremendous variety of competitive experience. On-Line Registration is the Easiest and Most Economical way to register for competition and to purchase spectator passes! Competitors who have advance registered will have their competition materials and spectator passes prepared in advance and made available for your pick-up at the Coronado Springs Convention Center registration bay marked "ADVANCE REGISTRATION PICKUP".

Advance Registration Packages may be claimed during the following hours:

Thursday, June 31st  5:00pm - 9:00pm
Friday, July 1st          8:00am - 9:00pm
Saturday, July 2nd    7:30am - 11:30am

Are you competing in Breaking Events?  There are two separate breaking competitions, that each offer several divisions.  ISKA World Championship breaking is by invitation only (contact Chris Lee at Leenanju@aol.com).  USBA-WBA breaking offer “Open” breaking divisions for competitors of all ages and ranks.  If you will be competing in a breaking division, you MUST order breaking materials from the USBA before June 24th.  Materials can be ordered online from:

All spectator seating for Friday and Saturday's Eliminations are General Admission. A Free Event Program will be available which will indicate what ring each division will be held in and a general competition schedule. There will be several rows of seating surrounding each and every competition ring. Those seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  While registering to compete there will also be an option to purchase spectator passes for your friends or family that will attend the event.  Those spectator passes will be inserted in your competitor package (and made available for pickup according to the schedule listed above).

All “Two-Day” and “Saturday Only”  Spectator passes include general admission to Saturday night’s spectacular Night of Champions.  All competitors also receive complimentary spectator admission to all events, including the Night of Champions.  VIP Reserved Seat Spectator Tickets for the Night of Champions are available and recommended (All NOC VIP Reserved Seat Tickets include General Admission to all of the elimination events).  Competitors may also choose to Upgrade to a NOC Reserved Seat (you will only be charged the difference between General Admission free that comes complimentary and the Reserved Seat price!)
